style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Haciendo realidad el sue\u00f1o de Sandino y Carlos, alrededor de 95,582 estudiantes, maestr@s, trabajadores de la salud, asesores pedag\u00f3gicos, conductores, oficinistas y amas de casa se movilizaron a todos los rincones del pa\u00eds para llevar el pan de saber a los kil\u00f3metros. de nicarag\u00fcenses que a\u00fan no conoc\u00edan las letras.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Century Gothic', sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); background-color: var(--ast-global-color-5);\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El objetivo de La Gran Cruzada Nacional de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n fue combatir el gran problema social, herencia del somocismo, del analfabetismo. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Para 1980 m\u00e1s del 50% de los y las nicarag\u00fcenses no sab\u00edan leer ni escribir; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">para el Frente Sandinista de Liberaci\u00f3n Nacional fue tambi\u00e9n importante hacer que campesinos y j\u00f3venes participaran en la transformaci\u00f3n nacional que se daba en esa \u00e9poca.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century Gothic',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Century Gothic'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Century Gothic';\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El 23 de agosto de 1980, al finalizar la Gran Cruzada Nacional de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n, en espa\u00f1ol, se logr\u00f3 reducir el analfabetismo del 50,35% al 12,96%, siendo uno de los grandes triunfos de la Revoluci\u00f3n Popular Sandinista, a nivel nacional con reconocimiento internacional, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">En 1981, la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas para la Educaci\u00f3n, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO) otorg\u00f3 a Nicaragua la medalla Nadezhda Kr\u00fapskaya, en reconocimiento a la m\u00e1s grande epopeya educativa de nuestro pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century Gothic',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Century Gothic'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Century Gothic';\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">El 30 de septiembre del mismo a\u00f1o comenz\u00f3 la Campa\u00f1a de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n en lengua materna, en Ingl\u00e9s, Miskito y Sumo, con el objetivo de alfabetizar a 16,500 nicarag\u00fcenses en la Costa Caribe.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century Gothic',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Century Gothic'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">En el a\u00f1o 2007, el Gobierno de Reconciliaci\u00f3n y Unidad Nacional llev\u00f3 a cabo la Campa\u00f1a Nacional de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n, que dur\u00f3 3 a\u00f1os, del 2007 al 2009, cuyo objetivo fue lograr un \u00edndice de analfabetismo de menos del 5% entrando en los par\u00e1metros establecidos por la UNESCO, logrando alfabetizar a 604, 851 nicarag\u00fcenses, utilizando el m\u00e9todo cubano \u201cYo s\u00ed puedo\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Century Gothic',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Century Gothic'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Century Gothic';\">Hoy, en esta nueva etapa de la Revoluci\u00f3n Popular Sandinista, tenemos nuevos triunfos que celebrar, dando continuidad a la Gran Jornada Nacional de Alfabetizaci\u00f3n, el Gobierno Sandinista ha alcanzado:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: restituy\u00f3 el derecho a la gratuidad y calidad en la educaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica del pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 14.2pt; text-align: justify;
